Mid Century Decor: Verner Panton “Flowerpot” Lamp
The “Panton Chair” is a world famous icon of mid century modern design immediately recognizable from its picture. Verner Panton had many other great creations including the Flowerpot Lamp featured here. The Flowerpot Lamp was manufactured by Louis Poulsen of Denmark. The example pictured here features a bright orange finish with a round shade. The wall mounting bracket and arching arm of the lamp gives the image of a flower leaning out of a pot and hence the name. Hopefully, you will find one of these at a great price in a thrift store near you. 18″w x 8″d x 18.5″h.
